Oh Man I’m tired!
I’ve had enough!
You see over and over I say these words yet I find myself back at it again!
It’s a pattern,
Like a song on repeat!
That toxic energy and vibe you bring,
Keeps calling me in!
Oh Man I tried!
Tried to pull back !
Made a complete turn only to find myself here
Back to you!
Back to what gives the thrill!
like a drug that has me hooked
Hooked on a feeling
An adrenaline until!
Until slowly but surely it starts to take effect,
It begins to hurt, yet I keep wanting more
Until it starts to destroy,
Destroy not only my inside but the outside,
My character and who I used to be.
You took my Identity!
Oh Man I quit!
Enough is enough!
It may be too late because the damage has already been done
But there is so much one can take!
As of now! I mean NOW
That GIRL is GONE!
The girl who sat and took it all in
Silenced herself, hid behind her tears
And walked on shells!
SIR! Mr.! Haven’t you had enough?
You keep taking and taking from me
Walking and walking over me
Belittling and reducing me to what suits you!
Though my scars may not be physical and we create the perfect picture
It’s about time I call it In
Round it up and face it
You have NO power over me!
Instead you’re a weak man
Looking for something to give your distasteful life meaning
But that something and someone is not me or any other
The realization may be late but
SIR! Mr.!
Oh Man I’m DONE!
That GIRL is GONE!
