Marble Surface

Resolutions?

If at the end of every year, you make the same resolutions and claim that the next will be your year and nothing works! It is about time you change what you’re doing and what you’re saying. Too often we find people wanting to bloom without first building roots. The process that we sometimes try to rush, determines the end result. Every step counts! While it is good to set goals and to have them, it is important as well to be prayerful, to be realistic but most of all to seek guidance.

If every year you are saying that you want to travel but your passport is expired and you have not done anything about it, you are already setting yourself up to fail. If every year, you hope to get closer to God but you don’t give Him at least 1 minute of your day, you are setting yourself up to fail. Every year should be your year but what will you do differently to actually achieve what you want?

Philippians 3:13-15

“Brothers, I do not consider that I have made it my own. But one thing I do: forgetting what lies behind and straining forward to what lies ahead, I press on toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus. Let those of us who are mature think this way, and if in anything you think otherwise, God will reveal that also to you.”

Always,

SJ
