I WROTE A BOOK

Ok first things first, I still can't believe I actually wrote a book! Sometimes we have dreams, we speak things into existence, and pray about them but when they happen or are happening, we still can't shake them! That's what it felt like when I held the first copy of 'There's More.' Would you believe me if I said the journey towards this achievement began when I was 11 years old? I began journaling my life at 11, it was a coping mechanism and a way to deal with the many things that was going on in my life. Back then, I didn't dream of becoming a writer or knew what would come of it but God placed it on my heart to go ahead and publish my journals and testify of everything He has done in my life and continues to do when I was 20. I had a "tap your breaks big guy" moment. As Christians, sometimes when God calls us to do something, our first thought is not always "Yes Lord, I will do it!" but rather a flood of questions, doubt and sometimes we run away. Maybe I should say that I had a Jonah moment! Lol!

I was scared at first because the book was my personal story and self publishing cost a lot of money! The funny thing in all this to me was that, I was not scared that God was asking me to take this step, but scared of everything that came with it even before It happened. But when I obeyed and started the process, He was there every step of the way and provided everything I needed and the right people. During that time, God reminded me that when He is in something and is the one who asked us to do something, He will not only lead/guide us but He will also provide! Which is why it is always good to involve Him in all that we do!

My book entitled 'There's More; A little something called Grace' will take you on a journey! That of self discovery, faith, Hope and the beauty of it all Grace! I don't want to say too much about the book or spoil it for some of you, but I do hope you get your copy and read it. The book is my testimony, and it was never about becoming known or famous, getting rich and the like. It was about sowing a seed in the kingdom and hopefully touching and impacting lives.

This journey has also brought a lot of good things my way, like new relationships with amazing people, open doors and so much more. I thank God everyday for this gift and I pray that He continues to use me. I will be doing a few signing events in Miami and then head out to my United States book tour next summer and I can't wait to meet some of you for the first time!
